The casinos are not as glitzy as the ones on the strip, but they are large enough, very clean, have very attentive cocktail waitresses. I played $3 blackjack at the Fiesta Station, Boulder Station & Texas Station casinos, all in the same chain of resorts. That same bad day at a $5 table costs you over $85. Have a bad day at a $3 table, you might lose $50. That makes the $3 table really $6, and the $5 table really $10, almost twice as expensive. You might think 'is there that much of a difference between $3 and $5 ? I'd answer yes - To make money in blackjack, you must be willing to split and double down, whenever possible. I was able to find three nice casinos, all in Henderson, that offer one $3 table 24/7. I enjoy playing blackjack, but $5 is a bit much for my comfort level (and my skill level).
